Get to know Amelia

Let me introduce myself. My name is Amelia and I’m a Respiratory Therapist at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama and a Lice Technician. I started this business to help relieve the stress of lice infestations for families in Dothan and the surrounding area.

Let me share my story….

In elementary school my daughters both came home from school with lice. By the time I discovered lice on them I realized they also transferred it to me. The horror, I went straight into a panic. I had never dealt with lice before in my life. I went straight to the internet and wanted to know everything I could learn about lice. Googling lice treatment became so overwhelming with all the different and contradicting information. After spending a LARGE amount of money in over-the-counter products and treating our hair several times we were finally lice free. This was definitely a learning experience and over-the-counter products did not work the first time or as they should. At this point I became very interested in treating lice the right way and started my research to treat lice professionally. Fast forward to the school year 23-24 and my daughter in middle school already had lice again within the first month of starting. This was my sign to get this business up and running.

I am passionate about helping people, whether it be my patients in the hospital, my clients here or just someone in need. I became a Certified Lice Technician through the Lice Treatment Center. I’m ready to help the Dothan and surrounding area so please let me know what I can do for you.
